I vividly remember my own 9th-grade experience, watching many of my friends struggle with the unbearable financial burden of extra tutoring classes. Being fortunate enough to attend a prestigious high school, I became both an academic mentor and Communication specialist at High School Help Kit. I authored numerous knowledge-sharing posts to guide students academically and emotionally, particularly those from humble family backgrounds, helping them pursue their high school dreams.

During Unboxing Day 2023, I noticed a recurring issue: despite our mentors' guidance, many group members still struggled with specialised subject, feeling overwhelmed by the vast amount of theoretical knowledge. I quickly realized that the root cause wasn’t simply academic, it was the mismatch in personality and learning styles between mentors and mentees. To address this, I suggested an online MBTI test to pair students with mentors who shared similar personalities and interests. The results were transformative: complaints nearly vanished, and students began to view Literature not as a burden but as an enjoyable subject. What makes me proud is that many of these mentor-mentee relationships remain strong even after the exams.
HSHK core team

However, I want to scale up this system, not only limited to highschoolers but also for RMIT-wannables. As HSHK is the largest student-led organisation in Vietnam, I believe its fame and network can be an impactful communication channel which attracts elites across Vietnam to RMIT.
